TCL Communication has just launched the BlackBerry KEY2 LE at IFA 2018 in Berlin. Earlier reports have gathered details about a downgraded version of previously released BlackBerry KEY2 which seems true with this launch.

Key specifications of this phone include a space bar mounted fingerprint sensor, full-HD+ display, Snapdragon 636 SoC, and QWERTY keyboard. By compromising on the RAM, processor strength and battery capacity, the mobile maker has managed scale down its price to below July launched BlackBerry KEY2.

BlackBerry KEY2 LE Features

The BlackBerry KEY2 LE sports a 4.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×1620 pixels) IPS LCD panel with 3:2 aspect ratio, pixel density of 434ppi, as well as 24-bit colour depth. It features Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box as its UI and Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset as the prime hardware. The smartphone gets further assistance from 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD.

Optically, BlackBerry KEY2 LE carries a dual rear camera setup with 13MP primary sensor, having f/2.2 aperture and PDAF, as well as a 5MP front sensor, having f/2.4 aperture, along with two tone LED flashlight. The starting price in US for BlackBerry KEY2 LE has been $399 (roughly Rs. 28,300) for its 4GB RAM with 32GB memory. The phone also bears other global price tags of EUR 399, GBP 349, and CAD 519. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model costs $449 (Rs. 31,900 approx), EUR 429, GBP 399, and CAD 579.

BlackBerry KEY2 LE will initially see availability in Canada, France, Germany, UAE, UK, and US, beginning next month. Hue options on this phone include Atomic, Champagne, and Slate colour.
