BlackBerry Evolve to go live on October 10th exclusively on Amazon

Blackberry’s Indian licensee Optiemus had announced two smartphones Blackberry Evolve X and Evolve for Indian markets in August. The Evolve X went on sale pretty much promptly by the end of August while the Blackberry Evolve will be available starting October 10 for Rs 24,990.

Blackberry Evolve Features

The Blackberry Evolve features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs on 1.8GHz Snapdragon 450 Octa-core processor and includes 4GB RAM and an internal storage of 64 GB which can be extended till 2TB with the help of hybrid memory slot. It works on the stock Android Oreo (8.1) and incorporates a Fingerprint sensor on the rear.

It has a 13MP + 13MP (f/2.0 aperture) camera setup on the rear bolstered by a dual-tone LED flash. The front-facing shooter is a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It houses a 4000 mAh battery and supports Qualcomm quick charge 3.

The phone has been priced at Rs.24,990 and will be available exclusively on Amazon from October 10th.  The handset certainly feels overpriced.
