Asus has been keeping a low profile in the mobile phone segment for some time now. The last we heard from the brand was the launch of ROG Phone 2 (review). The Taiwanese PC to Smartphone manufacturer seems to be only focusing on the mobile gaming segment.

For the first time in months, we heard from Asus Mobile division via a press release announcing its partnership with Unity for its Republic of Gamers branded phones. As per the release, Unity’s Engine will get direct access to ROG specific features via SDKs. This means that Unity Games will have customized ROG phone-centric features and graphics. Interestingly ROG Phone ll and ROG Phone lll were both named on the press release.
