Asus has already confirmed that it is launching the next in its ROG Phone Series in India later this week. Asus ROG Phone 7 Series is all set to arrive in the country on April 13. The series will have multiple phones including the Asus ROG Phone 7, Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro, and maybe an Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. In some regions, Asus ROG Phone 7D will also be available. Although the brand will give complete details about these devices on the day of the launch, a reliable tipster has leaked the price of the ROG Phone 7 today.
Asus ROG Phone 7: India price tipped
Tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the ROG Phone 7 vanilla model will be priced between Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 80,000 in India. The base model will give 12GB RAM+256GB storage while there will be a 16GB RAM+512GB storage option as well.
The predecessor Asus ROG Phone 6 was launched at a starting price of Rs. 71,999 for a 12GB RAM+256GB storage model, so the price claimed by the tipster for ROG Phone 7 seems close to being accurate.

Asus ROG Phone 7: Expected specs
The tipster also shared some details about the specs of the vanilla ROG Phone 7 model. According to him, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset that will have a clock speed of 3.19GHz. The chipset will be paired with an Adreno 740 GPU.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 is expected to have a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, high touch sampling rate, and more. In terms of camera, it is expected to sport a triple camera setup at the back including a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS, 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro sensor. The phone will come with a 32MP selfie camera and the back camera will support 8K video recording as well.
The ROG Phone 7 is said to pack a 6000maAh battery under the hood with 65W fast charging technology. The design is said to be similar to ROG Phone 6. It is expected to run Android 13-based ROG UI out of the box.
