The Asus ROG Phone 6 has been spotted on Geekbench and there it boasts of being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is the recently launched SoC from Qualcomm that aims to give a more powerful and faster performance.

When an engineering unit of Asus ROG Phone 6 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen was tested, it showed that Adreno 730 GPU ran at a 10% higher clock speed than the original Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This helped achieve a higher frame rate. The unit had 16GB RAM (with the highest expected RAM being 18GB) and is confirmed to have a 165Hz display.
