Asus ROG Phone I and ROG Phone II have earned a lot of appreciation from mobile gamers. The ROG Phone 3 (review) has just unveiled and the latest Asus gaming phone gets a big bumped up its specs, features and some design refinements.

Asus has made changes all around. Lets’ first start with the display. The ROG Phone 3 screen size remains the same at 6.59-inch but FHD+ AMOLED display now refreshes at 144Hz rate and has 270Hz touch sampling rate and 25ms touch latency. The display is HDR 10 certified. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The screen is an only appealing thing about the ROG Phone 3. It is powered by Snapdragon 865 Plus processor making its first smartphone to hit the land with Qualcomm’s latest SoC that provides 10-per cent faster and efficient CPU and GPU performance respectively. The best ever Snapdragon chipset is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage for the Indian market.

Asus says it has included gaming cool 3.0 technology for cooling that includes a vapour chamber and vents to ensure you get the best possible gaming experience on an Android phone.

The ROG Phone III includes a triple rear camera setup featuring 64-megapixel primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide and 5MP Marco camera, and a 24MP selfie camera on the front.

Asus is packed it with a 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The phone has two USB C ports one at the bottom and one on the side for connecting accessory and charge at the same time.

Asus ROG Phone 3 Price, availability

Asus India has announced ROG Phone 3 price and availability details post-global launch. The ROG Phone III will be starting at Rs 49,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant. The top variant of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will retail for Rs 57,999. Both variants of ROG Phone 3 will be available on Flipkart from August 6 onwards.
