Update (April 16, 2024): Asus India has launched the Zenbook DUO OLED at a starting price of Rs. 1,59,990 in India on April 16, 2024. Interested customers can purchase the laptop from Amazon, Flipkart, Asus e-shop, branded stores, and other leading retail outlets. More details about the notebook are given in this article, including the specifications and price for different models.

On Tuesday, Asus India unveiled the pre-booking offers for its highly-anticipated laptop, the Zenbook DUO OLED (UX8406MA). Packed with top-of-the-line features, the multimedia device starts at Rs. 1,59,990 for its base variant, boasting an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of NVMe SSD storage, and a 14-inch OLED touch screen that supports a 60Hz refresh rate. As part of the pre-booking offer, ASUS offers an extra two-year extended warranty, an additional three years of damage protection, and ProArt Mouse (MD300), all at Re. 1. Together, all the included benefits cost Rs. 20,389, according to the official press release sent by the company. 

How To Redeem The Zenbook DUO OLED Pre-Booking Offers?

Interested customers can pre-book the laptop from the company’s offline store, Asus eShop, Amazon, and Flipkart. To avail of the exclusive offers, customers must pre-book their Zenbook DUO OLED from any of the four outlets mentioned above between April 9 and April 15, 2024. Once users place the pre-order, they must generate their unique coupon as the ASUS website in the stipulated timeline (which will be sent to their registered email ID).

Following this, customers must purchase the Zenbook DUO OLED on or before April 19, 2024 (the official launch is scheduled for April 16, 2024). Finally, after the purchase is made, users will be able to redeem their offer at asuspromo.in (within 15 days after the final purchase).  

ASUS Zenbook DUO OLED Specifications

The Zenbook DUO OLED has a 14-inch touchscreen display with an FHD resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. It supports a peak brightness of 400 nits, which goes up to 500 nits while viewing HDR content. Unlike other laptops, this one comes with a detachable Bluetooth-enabled keyboard. Once you remove the keyboard, you’re left with two screens attached in the middle with a hinge. 

This entire arrangement lets you use the laptop in five different modes, as shown in the image below. 

  • There’s the conventional laptop mode 
  • The dual-screen mode with a virtual keyboard
  • The dual-screen mode with the physical keyboard 
  • A desktop mode where the displays are placed like a book
  • A presentation mode where both displays lay flat on a surface

Under the hood, the laptop runs on the Intel Core Ultra series of processors, with the top model featuring the Core Ultra 9 185H processor (with a maximum frequency of up to 5.1GHz, 16 processing cores, and 22 threads). Alongside the CPU, the laptop sports Intel Arc graphics.

The top model features 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB of NVMe SSD storage. Out of the box, it runs on Windows 11 Home. Powering the laptop is a 75 Whr battery that is rated to last for up to eight hours. In terms of ports, the laptop features two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.55mm headphone jack.
