Tech giant Asus has enlarged its Chromebook lineup with the launch of the all-new Chromebook CX1101 for the Indian market. The all-new rugged Chromebook comes with a 180-degree lay-flat hinge and military-grade certification. It can withstand falls, shock, and pressure and has also passed some in-house testing which includes panel pressure, shock, and drop tests.

It comes in a Transparent Silver color option and will be available on Flipkart starting December 15. It is originally priced at Rs. 19,999 but will come for a special introductory price of Rs. 18,990 if you buy it between 15th to 21st December. Users can also avail 10 % instant discount with SBI Bank cards and EMI transactions among no-cost EMI (For 6 months).
Chromebook CX1101 Specs
Asus Chromebook CX1101 features an 11.6-inch HD display and a spill-resistant keyboard. The device has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and offers a 67% screen-to-body ratio. It has an anti-glare display with 220 nits peak brightness. Chromebook is powered by a dual-core Intel Celeron N4120 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The storage capacity is expandable.
The new Chromebook runs ChromeOS with the keyboard having 1.5mm key travel. It has a 720p HD webcam and offers dual speakers. The Chromebook CX1101 is powered by a 42Wh battery and promises up to 13 hours of battery backup on a single charge. It has 6 I/O ports and dual-band Wi-Fi 5 for connectivity. The LCD cover is made of plastic and the bottom case material is plastic too.
The dimensions of the Chromebook are 291.6×200.9×19.5mm and it weighs 1.24kgs.
