Apple iwatch has recently been in the news regarding its launch. As mentioned previously on the blog, iwatch was unveiled at an exclusive launch event which was organized by Apple last month where the world’s slimmest MacBook with Retina display was introduced. Apple iwatch will soon be available via online pre-orders starting from April 10 across 9 countries.

The new gadget by Apple, iwatch features connectivity to smartphones to monitor calls and messages. Apart from this, the iwatch can be used to monitor news and comes with Apple Pay’s mobile wallet preloaded. The iwatch also offers the facility to connect to the social media. “With the built in speaker and microphone you can receive calls on your watch. I have been wanting to do this since I was five years old,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said at the launch event.

Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and Online Stores told that the massive interest shown by customers by marking Apple iwatch as their favorite has made Apple to expect positive results for the device. Apple, on Thursday, announced that initially the watch will be available only through orders placed online. The iwatch won’t be seen across the Apple retail stores but will only be available through Apple’s online store. Apple iWatch starting price would be $349 in the United States, with costs rising up to $1,049 for extra features. A special solid gold limited edition will be priced from $10,000.
