Apple is believed to have been working on its augmented reality (AR) glasses for years. A recent leak suggests that the company will call its AR Glasses ‘Apple Glass’. This should be the next generation of wearable technology. Isn’t it interesting?

The noted leaker Jon Prosser from Front Page Tech has a lot to say about Apple’s ambitious project in his YouTube video. Mr. Prosser claims to have seen the prototype of the smart glass that had a plastic body. The final product might get a material upgrade for better built quality.

According to the leak, both lenses of the Apple Glass will display information. Users will be able to connect the Apple Glass to their iPhones wirelessly (as with Apple watch) for all data processing. Starboard is the UI in the glass which can be controlled via gestures. Currently, the brand is not in the mood to launch sunglasses alongside.

The company has installed a LiDAR system in the smart device while skipping the camera, as per the prototype. To power up the AR glass, Apple has allegedly developed a wireless charging stand.
