Amazon Echo Devices Available for Purchase Without Invites In India: Price and Specifications

Amazon’s smart speakers – Amazon Echo Dot, Amazon Echo, and Amazon Echo Plus, can now be purchased by Indian customers without any invitation. Earlier an invite was needed to buy the smart speaker in India.

Starting today, the Amazon Echo speakers will be available for purchase via online and offline channels across the country. Potential buyers can buy the speakers from Amazon.in and over 350 retail outlets including Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, and Crossword.

Amazon Echo Specification

Amazon Echo devices are the smart speakers launched by the e-commerce giant. The devices come bundled with Amazon virtual assistant Alexa. The assistant talks to you and follows the command given to it using your voice.

Using the voice-controlled Alexa, you can set up routines to perform, shop on Amazon using voice, and choose from over 12,000 skills for the connected experience. Further, all smart speakers will now support multi-room music feature that allows you to sync and play music across multiple Echo devices simultaneously.

Amazon has also added some new interesting features to its smart devices. The Echo speakers are now capable to do Alexa-to-Alexa calling and messaging feature to connect with friends or family who have Echo compatible devices and apps.

The company mentioned that they will keep on adding more skills to its voice assistant. In future updates, with Amazon Echo, you will be able to order food, book a cab, and more.

Amazon Echo India Price

As for the pricing, the Amazon Echo Dot is priced at Rs. 4,499 whereas the Amazon Echo and Echo Plus are priced at Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 14,999, respectively. However, all the discount offers, like Amazon Prime membership, that were earlier offered with the speakers won’t apply any longer.
