Amazfit has launched the new Cheetah smartwatch series in India. Per the company, the device is engineered to cater to the needs of runners and other athletes who require high-precision GPS tracking. Further, both watches have a bright AMOLED screen and up to 12 days of battery. Here’s everything you need to know about the new smartwatches, their specifications, and availability.

AmazFit Cheetah Specifications

The Amazfit Cheetah series comes in two shapes: Round and Square. This allows users to choose the watch that suits their style better. The middle frame on both models is a fiber-reinforced polymer. Further, users also get a functional crown and additional buttons (one on Round and two on Square).

The Cheetah Round features a 1.39-inch HD AMOLED screen with a pixel resolution of 326 ppi and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits of better readability in bright environments. On the other hand, the Cheetah Square comes with a 1.75-inch HD AMOLED screen with a 341 ppi resolution, curved edges, and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness.

Regarding sensors, both smartwatches feature an accelerometer, a heart rate sensor, and a three-axis motion sensor, which help them measure users’ steps, calories burnt, heart rate, blood-oxygen levels, sleep, and sports data (supports over 150 sports modes). With Zepp OS 2.0, users can connect these devices to external heart rate belts, power meters, and apps like Strava, Relive, and Google Fit. Further, the company mentions that users can store up to 470 songs and stream them to connected headphones.

The Amazfit Cheetah series features MaxTrack technology that utilizes dual-band GPS antennas to pick up nearly 100% of satellite signals, reducing interference from environmental factors. The smartwatches also support six satellite systems for comprehensive coverage for all running routes. Users can also import route files and offline maps from the Zepp App.

Another new addition to the Cheetah Series is the Zepp Coach. Amazfit, in a press release, mentions that Zepp Coach is an AI-powered running coach that creates customized training plans based on users’ unique traits and race goals. The coach adjusts users’ plans every week based on their performance. Those who wish to explore this feature can also talk to the Zepp Coach AI Chat.

The smartwatches also provide features like music/camera control, Find Phone, breath training, and 5 ATM water resistance. Last but not least, the smartwatches are compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
