Alcatel has announced a new smartphone, Alcatel Onetouch Pop Astro, which is a very affordable smartphone and has been announced in the US with wireless carrier T-Mobile. Alcatel Onetouch Pop Astro features a quad core MediaTek MTK6732 prcessor with a clock rating of 1.5 GHz accompanied by 1 GB of RAM onboard. It comes with 4 GB of in built storage with a microSD card support up to 32 GB. Pop Astro packs a 4.5 inch qHD display which is embraced by Android Kitkat 4.4 OS. The smartphone comes with a smart anti-theft protection feature maintained by FCC. A 5 MP rear facing primary shooter stays onboard with a LED flash along with a 0.3 MP front facing camera.
