Smartphone market all around the globe is blazing hot at this moment. And there have been many new brands making their move in the already so crowded showdown, but still a few of them have proved their mettle by their efforts. OnePlus is one of the smartphone brands which originate from China and have established themselves pretty well with just one single device in the market. OnePlus has surprised the world with their OnePlus One.
OnePlus was the first brand to have a corporate tie up with Cyanogen, the OS provider of OnePlus One. We have seen OnePlus One and Micromax Yu Yureka as well coming up with Cyanogen OS. Cyanogen began their journey with their first build called Cyanogen OS which was based on Android Kitkat. And recently it got updated to Android Lollipop based Cyanogen 12 OS, namely Oxygen OS and the update has already been rolling out for OnePlus One. As per the latest reports, Cyanogen has split up with OnePlus and is now seeking for newer, better and bigger Chinese brands to partner with.
This seems to be a real pro move by Cyanogen to boost its growth in the smartphone sector. The earlier and the bigger, the better it gets for Cyanogen.
