The Airtel 5G Plus services claim to be the fastest and most reliable ones, but there’s still loads of confusion about how they will work and how one can avail of it. A: Airtel has named their 5G services as Airtel 5G Plus. is the latest wireless mobile technology. It is up to 30 times faster than 4G. 5G is basically the next revolution in the cellular network arena. 5G brings faster download and upload speeds, simultaneous 4K streaming, and cloud gaming with less latency.

Q. How can one activate the 5G network on your Android/iPhone?

A: Here’s how you can activate 5G on your phone:

On Android

Open Settings on your phone. Select the Mobile Network option.
Select the SIM you want to enable 5G on. And then select the preferred network type option.
Tap and select the 5G network type. If 5G has rolled out in your region, you will get a 5G symbol in the next few minutes on the status bar.

On iPhone

Go to the Settings app on your iPhone. Go to the Cellular settings menu.
From here select, Cellular Data Options.
Now under Voice and Data settings, either select 5G Auto or 5G On option.
Once this is done, you will see a 5G symbol on the status bar in the next few minutes.
