Snapdragon 625 consolidated Qualcomm’s position in the affordable space last year. It was universally hailed as a trusted option for lower mid-range phones owing to its power-efficient nature and dependable performance. Moving forward in 2018, the Snapdragon 625 will be replaced by its successor, the Snapdragon 630. In fact, there already are quite a few phones that already employ the new Qualcomm chipset. Here is the list of Snapdragon 630 phones that you can buy.
Snapdragon 630 Features
Snapdragon 630 is formed on the 14nm process and has 8 Cortex-A53 cores arranged in big.LITTLE configuration. The performance cluster is clocked at 2.2GHz (compared to 2.0GHz on Snapdragon 625) and the power cluster is ticking at 1.8GHz.
The chipset integrates 30 percent faster Adreno 508 GPU, X12 LTE modem, Spectra 160 ISP and Hexagon 642 DSP.

Sony launched two new mid-range phones at CES 2018 – the Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra – and both are powered by Snapdragon 630 octa-core chipset. The dual-SIM variants of the two are likely to make it to India in the next couple of months.
The Xperia XA2 Ultra is a dual selfie camera phone (OIS + wide angle lens) and the XA2 is the comparatively compact sibling that makes do with single selfie shooter. Both phones have metallic bodies, USB Type-C port, 23MP rear camera, and run the latest Android Oreo-based software out of the box.
