Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Details
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is loaded with 48MP quad shooters, latest Snapdragon 720G chipset, and is NavIC supported. Besides, it also offers better RAM and battery support. Let’s read the details to see if this new Redmi Note 9 Pro can stand against other competitors.
Display and Design
Redmi Note 9 Pro is fitted with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display. The panel meets the resolution of 1080x2400 px which amounts ~395ppi. You’re likely to see sharp and clear content based on the given configurations. Also, with an aspect ratio of 20:9 you get a tall screen with a punch hole notch.
Redmi Note 9 Pro is solidly built. It has a glossy finish on the back panel with a protective layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on either side of the phone. With 165mm of height and 8.8mm of thickness the phone may look slightly bulky. Also, it tips the scale at 209 grams which means you can feel it heavy especially if you hold it for long. There’s a dedicated fingerprint sensor on the side and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Configuration and Camera
Redmi Note 9 Pro runs Android 10 and is powered by Snapdragon 720G chipset. Qualcomm has managed to deliver a decent mid-range chipset to assist mid-ranger smartphones. The phone has 4GB of RAM which is enough to handle multitask and run demanding applications. Also, it sports Adreno 618 GPU to process in the graphic demands of the phone. To deal with daily tasks it features accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and compass.
Redmi Note 9 Pro flaunts quad rear cameras to assist in photography. It features a 48MP primary shooter coupled with 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP’s macro and 2MP depth sensor. Also, it features night mode which can be useful to snap pictures in extremely low light or at night. You can benefit from its smart ultra-wide-angle lens to capture more pixels in the frame. The rear camera can record 4K videos at 30fps. For selfies, it houses a 16MP camera, also it can record FHD 1080p videos @30fps.
Battery and Storage
Redmi Note 9 Pro is powered by a 5020mAh Li-Po battery. Deciding upon the battery size, it should give at least a day of power on average usage. Also, it supports 18W fast charge support to charge it quickly.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has 64GB of internal storage to store your neddy apps and games. However, you can expand the storage up to 512GB using an external micro-sd card. This gives you extra space to store your music, photos, videos, and documents.
Connectivity
Connectivity options in Redmi Note 9 Pro includes 3G, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth v5 and USB Type C v2.1. It also supports IR Blaster which makes the phone compatible with IR remote to control devices such as televisions and set-top boxes.
Xiaomi’s offering of this Redmi Note 9 Pro features decent performance and fine camera set up, the very basic feature that most buyers look in their phones. Also, it comes at a very fair price tag. This suggests there’s going to be a tough competition for the upcoming Realme phones and other Chinese brands.

Great Phone but nothing fancy
Redmi note series is always known for amazing value but this time realme giving tough competition by launching its rivals with 90 hz display and powering them with similarly powerful chipset however redmi note 9 looks better in my opinion but other than that no major improvement over the competitors overall its a solid phone but a very simple in terms of specs
A true all rounder
Still xiomi mistake to launch almost same specs with deferent name & minor changes... #xiomi should launch with Samoled display & UD finger print around 15-16k price range.... Now in 2020 we expect more.....

A decent buy
The note series is always behind the success of xiaomi in the smartphone market and the Note 9 series i another great example of it. The phone is loaded with some great specs and good hardware to support it, the punch hole camera adds a charm to the display. the only thing which i did not like is its side mounted finger print scanner and no amoled dispaly.
