Samsung has released an upgraded version of Galaxy J7 which is dubbed as Galaxy j7 Prime. The prime version comes with a few substantial design changes and an expanded RAM space. And yes, we have to mention the home button embedded fingerprint sensor.
On the spec-sheet, it rather looks like a refreshed version of the last year's Galaxy J7 than this year’s J7. It sports a 5.5-Inch TFT display that features 1080 pixel resolution. The display comes layered with a 2.5D curved glass on the top. The speakers are placed above the power button on the right side.
The Galaxy J7 Prime is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core SoC (details unspecified) with a 3GB RAM and 16GB onboard memory. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime uses a 3300 mAh battery to fuel its components.
On the optics front, the handset sports a 13 MP (f/1.9 aperture) rear shooter aided with LED flash and an 8 MP Selfie snapper. The handset supports dual SIM cards and offers 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and GLONASS/BDS as connectivity options.
It offers two color based alternatives- Black and Gold. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime price in India is 18,970 INR. On paper, the handset does seem to pack enough punch for the asking price.read more →
