Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the 7000mAh battery on the Realme 16 5G actually last?
With its 7000mAh Titan battery, you can easily get up to two full days of regular use on a single charge. When you do run dry, the included 60W fast charger pumps it back up to 50% in roughly 30 minutes.
Is the Realme 16 5G waterproof?
Yes, it is highly durable and features exceptional IP68 and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance. This means it can withstand deep submersions and high-pressure hot water jets, plus it even supports a dedicated underwater shooting mode.
Is the Realme 16 5G good for heavy mobile gaming?
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chip, which handles social media, streaming, and light multitasking with ease. However, if you are a hardcore competitive gamer looking for ultra-high frame rates, you might find the performance a bit lacking compared to other speed-oriented processors in this segment.
What is the unique selfie mirror feature on the Realme 16 5G?
It is a physical, reflective mirror built right into the horizontal rear camera bar. It lets you frame your shots easily so you can capture much higher-quality selfies or vlogs using the main 50MP rear camera instead of the front sensor.
How is the camera performance on the Realme 16 5G?
You get a 50MP main camera and a 50MP selfie shooter, which take vibrant photos in bright daylight. However, the rear camera lacks optical image stabilization (OIS) and does not have an ultra-wide angle lens, which limits your shot variety in tricky conditions.
Does the Realme 16 5G come with a charger in the box?
Yes, you get everything you need right out of the box. Realme includes the official 60W fast charging brick, a compatible USB Type-C cable, a protective phone case, and a SIM ejector tool.
Does the Realme 16 5G support an external SD card for expanding storage?
Yes, the phone supports storage expansion via a microSD card slot. This means you can easily upgrade your space later if the internal 128GB or 256GB storage fills up.
What software version does the Realme 16 5G run on?
The device comes running realme UI 7.0 right out of the box. Realme also built in a specialized Flux Engine optimization layer, which ensures the system stays fast and lag-free for up to 72 months of usage.
Does the Realme 16 5G have stereo speakers?
Yes, it features dual stereo speakers that can boost volume levels up to 300% for an immersive audio experience. This makes watching videos or playing casual games without earphones much louder and clearer.
