Realme 1 is going to disrupt online smartphone space. The new brand is looking to challenge Xiaomi with its aggressively priced Realme 1. In terms of specifications and design, it seems to be inspired from the Oppo F7.
The Realme 1 sports a 6-inch FHD+ (2160X1080 pixels) resolution display with 18:9 screen aspect ratio and shaved bezels. It is powered by 2.0Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, paired with multiple RAM and storage variants: 3GB RAM/ 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage.
On the camera front, the Realme 1 features a 13-megapixel sensor on the rear and 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies. The cameras are backed by AR stickers and AI to enhance image qualities over time.
The Realme 1 runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo-based Color OS 5 out of the box and houses a 3410 mAh battery with AI management. There is no fingerprint sensor on the phone but a Face Unlock, which the Realme claims can unlock the device in 0.8s. In terms of connectivity, you get dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, and GPS.
The Realme 1 has been best priced in India at Rs. 8,990 for its 3GB RAM model, followed by Rs. 10,990 for its 4GB RAM and Rs. 13,990 for its 6GB RAM variant. The phone will be available exclusively on Amazon.in from May 25 onwards, and you can purchase the Realme 1 in Solar Red and Black Diamond color options. The 4GB RAM variant of the phone is also available in Moonlight Silver hue.
