Nice
Its been exactly 10 days since I had this phone. I paid Rs. 25400 something for the phone. Its listed as 29999 after a discount of 3000...FIrst of all the price in all launch sites were 29999, so the discount shown is a fake one. I had a HDFC card 10% discount + HDFC interest free EMI. There was a bundled Oppo Free Onco which was priced 8k on offer for 6k with the phone so I took that and the screen insurance of 699. Also there was Rs.1 offer for an Oppo bluetooth speaker which was mentioned as 2990 which I got after I paid Rs. 41( 40 is the postage). The Bluetooth speaker is ok, actually its not worth more than 1000 or 1500, the quality it is only that much ( and no mic ! !). The Oppo Enco is good, has a more flatter sound, very good clarity and high notes...wish it had some more bass...Even at 5999 its over priced....Which seems to be the theme of Oppo products. Now, the phone....I changed to Oppo after using my OP3 for a good 4 years...I know, thats really long, only changed the screen once when it broke. The Reno is good, but definitely over priced at 29999...Its not worth that price...the realistic price should be around 20 / 22 k. Excellent screen, good colours , Great Main and front cameras...not still used the full potential....Very mediocre processor...The phone looks great, i took the blue one, its stunning ! I had an apprehension about moving to Color OS after Oxygen which is almost plain Android....But surprise, its quite good...but some bloatware ( cant uninstall and its really not useful)...Has option of Google launcher if you dont like Color launcher....but the Color one has lots and lots of personalisation ..not even gone through 10 % of it .....I bought this mainly because of two reasons...or I would have taken the OP7 Pro. One , its compact 6.4 inches ( where are the 6 and below screens?!!) and only 170 gms, and its Camera has good reviews, oh....and its like 30 k cheaper ! ! .....The Samsung A 51 was a strong contendor, but with all the discounts ( and freebies) the effective price is around 24k and it has Gorilla glass 5 and better camera specs....I am a rider and for the past two years i have been depending either on my wifes phone or fellow riders for good pics on a ride.....I dont game at all..so I cant comment on that aspect of the phone....Oh the bonus is it has a 30 W charger and you can get a full charge in about 40 mts...The battery lasts long...a full day for me, with about 30/35 % left at 9 pm... If it was priced at around 22 k and a slightly better processor and gorilla glass at back instead of plastic, I would have given 5 star... Mind you I am very happy with the phone...It stands apart, great screen and very good cameras for the price
