HMD Global is back with an entry-level Nokia C3 Android smartphone. The phone comes fitted with a 5.9-inch HD+ display. For the performance, a Unisoc SC9863A (formerly Spreadtrum)chipset backs up Nokia C3 with 3GB of RAM. Under the hood, an average 3040mAh battery is placed. Nokia C3 has a single 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. HMD Global which is a Finish mobile phone company has the advantage of Nokia branding over Chinese brands. Performance and Camera

For the performance, Nokia C3 is backed by a Unisoc SC9863A(28nm) (formerly Spreadtrum)chipset with 8-performing cores. The phone runs on the Android v10 operating system, and as per the reports, it may come with Google’s Android One or Android Go edition which secures its path for future updates. For multitasking and gaming action, IMG 8322 GPU is placed, which is assisted by 3GB of RAM that takes care of the graphic performance and settles background tasks. Useful sensors like accelerometer and proximity are present.

Nokia C3 comes with a single 8MP(f/2.2) rear camera with features like HDR and autofocus. You can’t expect pro like pictures from the camera but as per the price bracket, the camera seems decent. For selfies and video calls, a 5MP camera lies inside the notch. As far as the recording is concerned, you can record FHD 1080p videos @30fps using the rear camera and 720p videos with the front camera.

Nokia C3 is fitted with a 5.9-inch color IPS LCD panel. The display has a waterdrop notch with an HD+ resolution of 720x1440 px which amounts to 269PPI. Under direct sunlight, buyers may struggle to view clear and sharp contents. Nokia C3 has an aspect ratio of 18:9. Like most of the entry-level smartphones, this phone has thick bezels at the top and the bottom. Nokia C3 is available in two different color options Nordic Blue and Sand Glod.

Nokia C3 is backed by an average 3040mAh removable battery. We don’t see many phones with removable batteries nowadays, this is helpful when your phone freezes or lags. Judging by the battery size, it may deliver a day of power backup under average usage.

Storage and Connectivity

Nokia C3 has 32GB of internal storage capacity where apps and games can be stored. Also, the phone has an extra card slot that can be used to expand the storage.

Nokia C3 has the usual sets of connectivity options that include 3G, 4G VoLTE for HD voice calls, and video calls on supported Jio networks, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.2, and micro USB v2.0. For online location tracking, it features GPS with A-GPS.
