Good quality product
Okay so let's talk about the Moto X4. This phone release as a mid range smartphone in late 2017. However, I had purchased it only in late 2018 because pricey phones gather value for their price more when they age. So for late 2018, how does this phone hold up? Positives: 1. So the display on this phone is a 1080p display. It has punchy colors and good viewing angles. 2. It has. a USB C instead of micro USB. 3. It has retained the headphone jack. 4. It is IP68 certified which mean you can toss your phone in water. 5. It has a snapdragon 630 which delivers good performance for this price range. 6. It delivers close to stock Android experience. 7. It has a premium built. 8. It comes with a fast charger and a decent earphone in the box. 9. The camera can shoot wide angle images and also shoot 4k at 30fps. 10. It sports a 16mp front camera, with picture details being on of the best phones can delivers in this price segment. This camera is supported with a flash. 11. Cellular call quality is amazing on this phone. Negatives: 1. Battery life is very average. Even through moderate usage, you will have to juice up your phone at the end of the day. 2. It still sports the 16:9 aspect ratio. 3. Speakers are average. End verdict: If older aspect ratio and a slightly weaker processor in comparison to other phones does not bug you, then go for it. This phone is a lot more trustworthy than mi phones which might offer better value for money but aren't the most reliable phones out there. I'm Adithya, you can check me out in the YouTube channel called Techlord, where I have further elaborated on the features of this phone. Thanks!

camera - Speaking of taking pictures, the Moto X4 has a 12MP and 8MP wide-angle rear dual camera setup, and a 16MP front-facing snapper. Motorola refers to the Moto X4's camera setup as the bee's knees in all of its marketing material, but in practice, however, it's not all that. It boasts the dual-lens system that many manufacturers are adopting for their flagship phones these days, from Apple to Samsung. However, while most of those manufacturers tend to pair a standard lens with a telephoto lens for a optical zoom effect, Motorola, erm, doesn't. The firm uses the two cameras to achieve an enhanced bokeh effect, called "Depth-enabled" in the camera UI. While you can adjust the strength of the effect with a manual slider, the results can usually mean overly-blurred images of both the subject and background, which is annoying. In general, though, the quality of the shots achieved from the main camera are pretty decent. In evenly-lit situations, the X4 is capable of taking detailed photos. Nevertheless, in low-lit conditions, it didn't prove as reliable, with some shots seeming quite grainy thanks to noise
