Reliance digital has launched yet another pocket friendly smartphone under its LYF series known as Lyf Water 5. This budget smartphone comes with a dual sim option (4G + 2G), which means if either of the sim card runs at 4G speed the other will work only at 2G. The smartphone has a 5 inch HD display with Dragontrail glass (it has a slightly lower Vickers hardness than its counterpart Gorilla glass), which means it can be scratched a little more easily. Lyf Water 5 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (out-of-the-box), powered by Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 360 GPU and a 2GB (RAM) virtual memory. A major downside of this smartphone is its memory which has only 16GB inbuilt storage and does not support expandable ROM (storage). Like all other Lyf phones this too supports VoLTE (Video & HD Voice Call). It comes packed with a decent battery size of 2920 mAh (Li-ion polymer) and a 13MP autofocus rear camera with a 5MP front facing one. The phone offers standard USB connectivity through USB 2.0 port. This handset will compete against the likes of LeEco Le 1s and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and the latter offer much better set of specifications and features at roughly the same price.
