Lenovo received appreciation from both users as well as critics for its first dual selfie camera smartphone Vibe S1. To reach out to a bigger audience, Lenovo introduced Vibe S1 Lite at the CES 2016. However, the Lite variant of Vibe S1 doesn’t feature the same dual selfie camera setup. Here’s our initial analysis of Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite based on its features, specifications and price in India.
Lenovo Vibe S1 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC which is clocked at 1.3 GHz which, surprisingly, is also been used in much-hyped Lenovo K4 Note. There is 2gigs of RAM to make sure everything works well and Mali T720- MP3 is in command of all graphics section.
Just like its older sibling, this selfie-centric phone too comes with a 5-inch display with a 1080p resolution. Lenovo has managed to pack 441 pixels-in-per-inch to ensure images are sharp, vibrant, and offers good viewing angles.
Speaking of Camera, the Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite comes with 8MP Sony-made sensor at the front which is coupled with a flash to ensure users have a great selfie experience. At the rear side, it features a 13MP shooter with dual tone CCT flash.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 runs on Android 5.1 which is likely to receive Marshmallow 6.0 update over the air in time to come. A 2700mAh battery is placed under its hood which is non-removable.
This Lite variant of Vibe S1 comes with dual SIM card slots which supports 4G LTE (band 40), 3G and 2G networks. It is equipped with a number of sensors including Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
Lenovo has not made any official announcement regarding where and when you can buy Vibe S1 Lite in India, and we don't expect it to happen anytime soon.
