Another addition to Lenovo's Phab series of smartphones, the Phab 2 Plus is the successor to the Phab Plus phone brought out by the Chinese company. The Phab 2 Plus is considered by many as a possible threat to Xiaomi's Mi Max and was primarily pitched by Lenovo as an entertainment phablet.
The phone features a metal unibody which is protected by Gorilla Glass on the top and boasts of a 6.4-inch full HD display. Powered by an octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor along with 3GB RAM, the Phab 2 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Vibe UI software and features an in-built storage of 32GB.
Talking about the optics, the phone features a now common dual camera setup at the back comprised of two 13MP sensors featuring a host of features, such as dual Fujitsu Milbeats ISPs, PDAF, Laser AF and f/2.0 aperture. On the front of the phone, there is an 8MP selfie snapper that has f/2.2 aperture.
The Phab 2 Plus packs a 4,050 mAh battery and carries a fingerprint sensor mounted on its front. Along with that, the phone also features Dolby Atmos audio that enables 360-degree sound and allows the user to customize sound profiles based on the type of media they are listening to.
