HTC One X9 continues HTC’s resuscitation right from the point where HTC One A9 left off. The One A9 brought in a much needed sales boost for the Taiwanese maker and the One X9 will further tread the same path. If you are interested in HTC’s recent makeover, HTC One X9 must definitely be intriguing. Let’s proceed with our initial analysis of HTC One X9.
HTC One X adorns metal construction just like the One A9, but the design is markedly different than iPhone 6. Speaker grill is still at the bottom, but this time HTC has managed to creep in traditional Boomsound audio. Capacitive navigation keys are back too, but alas, all that comes at the loss of fingerprint sensor.
Talking about features and specifications, the new One A9 is powered by 2.2 GHz MediaTek’s Helio X10 octa-core chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. The rear camera hardware (13MP primary sensor, F2.0 Lens, AF, OIS) remains same as One A9. On the front a 5MP Ultrapixel camera is present, supported by LED flash and wide F2.9 aperture lens.
It also includes a bigger 5.5 Inch display (Full HD) and a bigger 3000 mAh battery. For now, you can buy HTC One X9 online from China for approx. $370. There is no word on HTC One X9 India availability, but if it arrives in India, it is expected to be priced cheaper than HTC One A9.
