HTC Desire 820 & Desire 820 dual SIM review: The doppelganger

In a lot of ways the HTC Desire 820 is the natural continuation of the mid-range handset line and can be considered more or less an upgraded version of the Desire 816. It is a solid device on its own, but HTC could have tried a little harder and addressed some of the issues in its predecessor better.

HTC has built-up a formidable reputation for offering some of the best-built devices on the market. read more →

HTC Desire 820 Review: The Gigantic 64-bit Performer

The Desire 820 stands prominently amongst the mid-range market for its balanced qualities. Obviously, the piece of silicon that’s under the hood is arguably its most outstanding attribute, but there’s so much else to like about the handset. For one, its fun and lively design is a tantalizing change of scenery from the otherwise boring, plastic constructed slates we’re constantly bombarded with.If you’re to look online, you can snag the HTC Desire 820 from a variety of online sources for about $475 (without contract). read more →

HTC Desire 820 review: Mixed performance mid-ranger

The HTC Desire 820 has plenty to offer: it's a refined day-to-day experience, with the Sense 6 interface offering plenty to set it apart from the competition. And we're sure it will be updated to Android Lollipop at some stage in the future, which will bring a number of benefits, including support for the 64-bit hardware beneath the phone's plastic skin.

There's plenty of power for daily tasks, a large screen to consume content and cameras that can offer some great shots, even if the high megapixel count doesn't immediately translate into the best results. read more →

  • Design, build are so nice
  • HTC Sense is nicely refined
  • Price,
  • Battery life,
  • Display not the best,
  • Some sensors missing, so doesn't have a fully-packed feature set

Nice form factor and decent specs.

I bought this phone on the day of its launch. After 10 months of use I can say you should go for lower brands but higher specs phone( although I am happy using it).

  • *Nice outlook and form factor.
  • *Decent processor and healthy ram.
  • *Multitasking is good.
  • *No lags
  • *Looks elegant with dot view cover.
  • *Signal strength and data speed works like charm ( in a basement I could make and receive calls but my friend with Samsung note 3 can't)
  • -Full HD screen missing (would have further dipped the battery life although).
  • -Battery backup is hell (don't even try to leave your data on if your access to charger is not wit in next 6 hours)
  • -Boomsound speaker is only for namesake (to make customer feel as if they have bought HTC one series).
  • - camera is 5 megapixel( in reality)
  • - cheap plastic used (attracts fingerprints like he'll)
  • - to get a decent juice out of battery always have to use with powersaver mode (can't unleash the full power of cpu)
