Google Pixel XL is the larger of the two Pixel handsets that the Mountain View giant unleashed this year.
To start with, the Pixel XL includes a 5.5-inch 2K AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 on top. The handset is powered by 2.15GHz Snapdragon 821 quad-core chip, paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB/128GB storage. That sounds like enough power for all classes of users.
Since this is a premium flagship handset that costs a fortune, It's imperative that the camera performance is perfect. Google doesn't disappoint on this front and offers a Nexus 6P camera sensor with even larger pixels. Other camera aspects have also been improved. The camera focuses on the subject and clicks insanely fast. The DxoMark score is 89, which is highest ever allotted to a smartphone camera.
Other features include 8MP selfie camera, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac 2x2MIMO (2.4/5 GHz), 3 microphone, 3.5mm Audio Jack, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, and 3450mAh battery.
The base software is Android 7.1 Nougat and the handset will continue receiving version updates and security patches for 2 and 3 years, respectively. his is the first Google Phone that comes with Google Assitant inbuilt. Google is also providing unlimited cloud storage for images and videos (full resolution) clicked using Pixel phones.
