Gionee S12 Lite

Gionee S12 Lite is an entry-level smartphone from the house of Chinese smartphone maker Gionee. The phone houses an Helio A25 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. On the camera side, the phone sports a 13MP triple rear camera with a dedicated LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. Gionee S12 Lite includes a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. Display and Camera

Gionee S12 Lite comes fitted with a color IPS LCD 6.5-inch multitouch display with a waterdrop notch. The panel has an HD+ resolution of 720x1600px with a pixel density of 269PPI. The display has fewer bezels around with 80.9% of screen to body ratio. Based on this configuration, the panel is expected to produce decent visuals but under direct sunlight, it might struggle. The aspect ratio of the phone is 20:9. Also, the display is long and can be useful to counter daily tasks on the phone.

Gionee S12 Lite comes with a 13MP triple rear camera setup with a dedicated LED flash. The primary 13MP camera is followed by a 5MP ultra-wide camera that can be used to click wider images, and a 2MP depth sensor with autofocus completes the setup. The camera is expected to give decent shots, also, you may capture portrait images using the camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone houses a 5MP camera inside the notch. Performance and Battery

Gionee S12 Lite runs on the Android 10 operating system. The performance of the phone is handled by an entry-level MediaTek Helio A25 SoC with 8-performing cores that clocks at 1.8GHz. The background and multitasks of the phone are handled by 3GB of RAM while PowerVR GE8320 GPU handles the graphic performance of the phone for demanding apps and games. User-friendly sensors like Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer are all present for better the user experience.

Gionee S12 Lite is backed by a 4,000mAh battery underneath. Judging upon the battery size, a full day of power backup under average usage is expected. The phone comes with a proprietary charger out of the box. 

Storage and Connectivity

Gionee S12 Lite has 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity. This storage option can be used for stuffing apps and games. Also, there’s an extra card slot that expands the storage capacity to store more pictures, videos, documents, movies, etc. 

Gionee S12 Lite has the usual sets of connectivity options that are 3G, 4G VoLTE that enables HD voice and video calls on supported Jio networks, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.2, and micro-USB v2.0 with OTG and charging. For online location tracking, it is supported by GPS with A-GPS.
