Wonderful

I am a long time user of SONY Alpha cameras. The A57 was a solid model, in fact it has a few advantages over the A68 but its no longer available. The A68 has more focus points and has a slightly higher MP count 16 vs 24. Handling wise, both are similar and really great. I would totally recommend a beginner or intermediate user to go for the SONY ILCA68. The good parts - A68 has in body stabilization which means each lens you buy need not have their own stabilization. Have good stabilization is very important for taking zoom shots or shots in low lighting. A-mount lenses are quite high quality lenses, SONY got the photography line from their purchase of MINOLTA which is very well known for making great lenses. The bad parts - the major problem in 2020 is that SONY has not been keeping this line of the excellent Alpha Mount cameras updated. At this rate, there may not be new models at all in the future. Since I had already invested in more than a few a-mount lenses, choosing the A68 is not a bad decision. For brand new buyers, CANON or NIKON may be a better choice or you could try a completely mirrorless camera like SONY A6100. If you have more cash, A77 II is also a good choice but be prepared to spend a lot on not just the camera but on lenses too.
