Earlier we had mentioned on our blog about ZTE announcing their smartphone called Nubia Z9. Finally there is an official verdict on the same call. ZTE Nubia Z9 launch will be conducted on May 6 in China. The bezel less version of ZTE Nubia Z9 will be officially launched as reported by ZTE in their Weibo post. Nubia Z9 is the flagship smartphone by ZTE. Nubia Z9 is known to be launched in two variants namely, Nubia Z9 Max and Nubia Z9 Mini.
ZTE Nubia Z9 Max features a a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor along with 3 GB of RAM. It is possesses a 5.5-inch HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for resistance against scratches. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop along with Nubia UI 2.8. It packs a 16 MP primary CMOS camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front camera. ZTE Nubia Z9 Max is fuelled up by a 2900 mAh battery.
ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini features a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 2 GB RAM. It inboxes a 5-inch HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, with a pixel density of 441p. Graphic acceleration is taken care of by a dedicated Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone is juiced up by Android Lollipop topped with Nubia 2.8 UI. Other connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB.
GM of Nubia smartphones, Ni Fei said that manufacturing a bezel less display is a really complex and time consuming process because of which the launch got a bit delayed.
