ZTE Nubia Z17 mini With Dual 13 MP Cameras and 6GB RAM Launched

ZTE Nubia Z17 mini goes official in china and with that Nubia has become latest entrant to join the 6GB RAM club. The Nubia Z17 Mini boast impressive specs packed under a metal unibody exterior with 7.45mm waistline. It is offered in a number of hues including Black, Black with Gold, Champagne Gold, and Red and its sale start on April 13 in China. However, There’s no clarity on when it will make it to the Indian market.

One of key highlight of the Nubia Z17 mini is its 13-megapixel dual cameras (one monochrome and one with RGB lens), and Sony IMX258 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and OIS mounted at the back. Up front, there is a wide angle 16-megapixel camera for selfie enthusiasts.

The Nubia Z17 mini sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display with a 2.5D Curved Glass covering. The company is offering it with two different set of hardware combination. The top variant enthralls on Snapdragon 653 chipset coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB of RAM. Similarly, the base variant is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 mated to 4GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. Both variants come with 64GB of onboard space, which can be bumped up via a microSD card (up to 200GB).

Apart from enticing optics, it comes with 4G VoLTE, hybrid SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C. The phone runs on Nubia 4 UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 2950mAh battery with fast charge support.

In China, ZTE has priced the 4GB RAM Nubia Z17 Mini variant with Snapdragon 652 version at 1699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 16,000) whereas the 6GB RAM option powered by Snapdragon 653 variant will cost 1999 yuan (approx. Rs. 18830).
