If you still have one of those Nokia feature phones around, you can pop off the back cover to access the 300 or so milliAmp Hour battery. That’s all they have ever needed to power you through multiple days of usage.

So yes, it feels a tad ludicrous that Ziox Mobile’s new feature phone, the Thunder Mega, integrates a mammoth 4000mAh battery. And it’s no surprise that the handset can sail you through 50 hours of talk time and 1300 Hrs of standby time. You can also use it as a powerbank to charge other gadgets (via OTG cable).

As you would expect, the Zion Thunder Mega comes with a compact 2.4-inch display. The phone memory can fill up to 1000 contacts and 200 SMS. You can also add another 32GB of MicroSD storage. Other notable highlights include an SOS panic button, 4 LED torch, Wireless FM and a Mobile Tracker.

Commenting on the launch of the newest device, Mr. Deepak Kabu, Chief Executive Officer – Ziox Mobiles adds, “With our newest phone, Ziox pushes the limit further set for a feature phone in the Industry. Big battery and power bank function combo will definitely address the audience who are facing hitches via battery and also looks to charge their phone via power bank”.

Irrespective of Whether or not the gigantic battery makes sense, this does qualify as a great marketing stunt. You can source Ziox Mega Thunder across leading offline retail stores for 1803 INR. You can buy it in Black + Red, Black + Grey, Black + Orange color options.
