Xiaomi to skip 13 & launch Xiaomi 14 Series soon: Retail Box & specs leaked

Tech giant Xiaomi has been gearing up to launch its next flagship series- Xiaomi 13 in China. It has already been confirmed that the flagship series will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, but now it looks like the name of the series will not be Xiaomi 13 Series. Recent leaks indicate that the company is skipping 13 and calling their next Xiaomi 14 Series. Some retail box images have surfaced online that come with Xiaomi 14 branding on the box. The images were seen on Weibo and they also reveal some specs of the Xiaomi 14 vanilla model.

Xiaomi 14: Design & Specs

Now the Xiaomi 13 is going to be launched as Xiaomi 14 and the series might get launched in December 2022. Although Xiaomi has not confirmed the name, the image seen on Weibo claim that the series will be called Xiaomi 14 and also confirms the partnership with Leica for the flagship series.

Some specs of the Xiaomi 14 have also been revealed. The vanilla model has a model number of 2211133C and it matches the number that was seen in the 3C listing. The smartphone will have a RAM of up to 12GB and will run Android 13 out of the box with MIUI 14 on top. The Xiaomi 14 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which will be clocked at 3.2GHz.

The design renders of the vanilla model were leaked in the past which claimed that the phone will get a square-shaped camera module. There will be a triple camera setup on the back with LED flash and the main sensor will be 50MP. The front will see a 6.2-inch display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Xiaomi 14 is expected to pack a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging out of the box.
