Xiaomi Redmi Smart TVs X50, X55, and X65 launched in India; Specs, Price, and Availability

Xiaomi has launched three new 4K LED TVs in India under its Redmi sub-brand. The new Redmi Smart TV models include X50, X55, and X65. The highlights of TVs are 4K resolution, HDR 10+ support, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Audio.

Xiaomi has brought the three Redmi X-series Smart TVs specifically for the Indian market. Two of these will cater to the lower price tiers beneath the previously launched Mi QLED TV.

Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV X50, X55 & X65 Price and Availability

The base variant of the Redmi Smart TV X50 is priced at INR 32,999 in India. The X55 will sell at the price of INR 38,999 and the top-in-line variant Redmi X65 is set to be at INR 57,999. The Redmi Smart TV X-lineup will be available through Mi online shop, Mi Home Stores, and Amazon from March 26, 12 noon.

Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV X50, X55 & X65 Features

Xiaomi has presented the Redmi Smart TV in three different screen sizes of 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. The remaining features of the three TVs are the same. The panel offers a 4K resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, 60Hz refresh rate, and supports the HDR standards including HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, and MEMC Reality Flow. The TVs feature Xiaomi’s Vivid Picture Engine supporting 92% DCI-Ps color gamut.

For audio performance, the X-series Redmi TVs sport dual 15W speakers to produce a 30W output. The speaker is further assisted by sound technologies like Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, DTS Virtual X, and Dolby Atmos via eARC.

The Redmi Smart TVs are equipped with a quad-core MediaTek MT9611 chipset based on ARM Cortex A55 architecture. The TVs include Mali G52 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. The lineup runs on Xiaomi’s PatchWall based on Android TV 10 operating system.

The connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI 2.1, two USB, a 3.5mm jack, and other standard ports. The popular OTT apps come pre-installed on the TVs. The bundled remote is designed with a minimalist approach while providing dedicated buttons for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

The Redmi X TVs support the Mi Home app to control Xiaomi’s smart devices like Mi Air Purifier, bedside lamp, vacuum cleaner, and security cameras.
