Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K 55 with HDMI 2.1 launched in India

Xiaomi has released its Mi QLED TV in India. The 55-inch 4K TV comes with Dolby Vision, HDMI 2.1, Android TV 10 software, among other things. This is the company’s most premium television in the country thus far. Let’s take a look at what all this Xiaomi QLED TV trots out in its quantum leap.

Mi QLED TV 4K 55 Price and Availability

Xiaomi has priced the Mi QLED TV 4K 55 at ₹54,999 in India. It will be available from December 21, at 12 pm via Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other retail stores like Vijay Sales.

Mi QLED TV 4K Specs and Features

As the name reveals, this is a 55-inch quantum LED tv with 4K HDR resolution and 96% screen to body ratio. There is support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. It claims coverage of 100% NTSC color gamut and 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. The display is complemented by a 30W six-speaker system consisting of 4 full-range drivers and 2 tweeters. The sound is aided by Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.

Inside, the TV is running on Android TV 10 software with the option to choose between the proprietary PatchWall UI 3.5 or stock Android TV UI. The TV boots swiftly thanks to the quick wake feature. There is built-in Chromecast support, Google Assistant, and the deluge of apps from Google Play.

The underlying machinery is a MediaTek MT9611 quad-core CPU coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of onboard storage. Connectivity options comprise 3 HDMI 2.1 ports (with eARC) and 2 USB ports, Ethernet, optical, and 3.5mm port. Thanks to HDMI 2.1, you could enjoy 4K60fps content with input latency as low as 5ms.
