Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro Launched Globally: Will Come to India Soon

Xiaomi has announced the next in its Tablet lineup globally. The brand has announced the Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro in Europe as well as some other markets around the globe. The Redmi Pad Pro was first launched in China in March 2024 post which it has now gone official in Europe. It is a mid-range tablet that is the first by Xiaomi to come with stylus input support. Alongside Pad Pro, various Tablet accessories have also been announced.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen chipset along with Adreno 710 GPU, 256GB storage and up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. It sports a 12.1-inch LCD screen with 2.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and Dolby Vision.

The Pad runs HyperOS based on Android 14 features an 8MP snapper at the front. At the back is an 8MP sensor for photography. Under the hood, the tablet packs a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging speed. Additional features include quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio, a 3.5mm audio jack, TUV Rheinland Blue light certification, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and more. It weighs 571 grams and its dimensions are 280×181.85×7.52mm.

The Redmi Pad Pro is compatible with various accessories like a Stylus Pen and a Keyboard.

The Tablet is compatible with a Redmi Smart Pen, a Keyboard Folio Case, and a bookcase.

Redmi Pad Pro Smart Pen

This Redmi Pad Pro Smart Pen supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and comes with low latency for a seamless writing experience. It comes with two buttons that can be used for taking screenshots, scrolling through documents, and changing brush types. It weighs 12.7 grams and costs Rs. 6300 approximately.

Red Pad Pro Keyboard Case

The Redmi Pad Pro Keyboard Case features 65 keys and weighs around 450 grams. It packs a 210mAh battery which offers up to 59 hours of continuous usage. There is a USB-C port for charging and connects to the tablet over Bluetooth. The case is priced at Rs. 9300 approximately.

Redmi Pad Pro Book Cover

Redmi has also launched a tri-folding cover that has a dedicated stylus holder. It supports an automatic lock/unlock feature and is available in two color options- Black and Blue. The Book Cover costs Rs. 2700 approximately.

The Redmi Pad Pro comes in 3 storage configurations-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage

The price starts at Rs. 27,000 approximately and the tablet will soon be available in Europe.

The Indian variant of the Pad Pro was recently seen on Google Play Console listing so the India launch is imminent as well. In some markets, Redmi Pad Pro might arrive as Poco Pad as well.
