Xiaomi India is preparing itself for the August 30th launch where it will launch the Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G as well as Xiaomi Smart TV X Series in India. It is still under wraps as to why Xiaomi chose the 120G as the branding although there are indications that it could be because of Intel Core 12th-gen processors or the 120Hz refresh rate onboard the display tech.

Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G to launch on August 30

Xiaomi India took it to Twitter to announce the upcoming launch of the Xiaomi Notebook Pro 120G on August 30. It will be joined by the Smart TV X Series as well.

Talking about the laptop, it is named 120G probably because of its 120Hz refresh rate or the 12th-gen processors although we will have to wait to find out more about it. NoteBook Pro 120G surpasses the 2020 Mi Notebook Pro and Notebook Ultra which were rebranded versions of RedmiBook Pro 14 and 15, respectively. If that’s the correct trend behind it, the upcoming NoteBook Pro 120G is likely a rebranded version of any of the RedmiBook Pro 2022 models released this year.

As you can see in the teaser, it says “Fast. Fluid. Fantastic” tagline which goes on to show the characteristics of the upcoming laptop imbibes. The image shows a regular-sized keyboard with no dedicated Numpad on the right. The laptop is slated to arrive with Windows 11 (of course) although everything else is a mystery at the time of writing this.

Xiaomi Smart TV X Series to launch on August 30

It won’t be just NoteBook Pro 120G on the display on August 30 but a few Smart TV X Series models will steal some of the limelight too. The series is expected to get 4K resolution and will be available across three screen sizes i.e. 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch.

We are still 10 days away from the August 30 launch which means Xiaomi will continue to send out teasers showcasing and promoting the many features both NoteBook Pro 120G and Smart TV X Series will bring to the table. Watch out for this space for more information.
