Xiaomi Mi TV 4 Cheapest 55-inch 4K HDR TV Launched in India: Price and Specifications

In another first, Xiaomi launched their Mi TV 4 in India alongside the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Mi TV 4 is the same Smart TV which Xiaomi showcased at the CES 2017. The major highlights of Mi TV 4 include the ultra-slim design, 4K HDR display, PatchWall UI and Bluetooth enabled remote control.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 Features

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is a 4.9mm ultra-thin television, which according to the company is 38 percent thinner Galaxy S8 (don’t know why Xiaomi compared TV size to a smartphone).
Design-wise, the Mi TV 4 comes with a brushed metal back and aluminum alloy stand. Under the hood, the TV is powered by 64-bit quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 8GB storage.

From the front, the Mi TV 4 flaunts a 55-inch edge-to-edge display with no visible bezels. The TV supports 4K resolution along with HDR support which makes it one of the cheapest 4K HDR supported 55-inch smart TV in the country. The TV runs on PatchWall UI with almost most of the prominent content apps pre-loaded on it.

Furthermore, Xiaomi has integrated the Mi TV 4 with 8W duct inverted speakers with Dolby+DTS Cinema Audio support.

At the connectivity front, the Mi TV 4 include Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band Wifi, 3XHDMI cable, and an Ethernet port. Xiaomi also says that its TV has got a modular design which means it can be upgraded in future.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 Price, Availability, and Launch Offers

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 India price is set at Rs. 39,999 and will be available for sale exclusively on Indian e-commerce site Flipkart. Content partners include Hotstar, Voot, Voot Kids, Sony Liv, Hungama Play, Zee5, Sun NXT, ALT Balaji, Viu, TVF, and Flickstree.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is a good television for the price. The Mi TV 4 doesn’t flash, which is not a problem, as long as your expectations are in check.

Are u sure it is a modular version ? Xiaomi didn’t say anything during the event.. and no news about the MI port.. probably it’s not a modular version that was launched in China.
