MIJIA, the MI ecosystem subsidiary has launched the successor to Mi Band series- The Mi band 4. The smart band was unveiled in China in three models- A base variant, an NFC edition and finally a special Avengers edition.

The highlight features include a 5ATM water resistance, built-in microphone to summon Xiao AI voice assistant (NFC edition only), Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC (optional). The two variants differ based on the inclusion of NFC support.

Mi Band 4 refreshes the design aesthetics with 6 different colors viz. Black, Brown, Blue, Orange, and Pink. Upfront, you get a 39.9% larger display than the predecessor exuding up to 16,000 colors. Further, the brightness could go up to 400 nits. It is a 0.95-inch (120 x 240 pixels) AMOLED color touch screen panel shielded by 2.5D scratch-resistant glass.
The 5ATM waterproof feature enables it to be used under 50 meters. Mi Band 4 brings the general features of a fitness tracker for steps, heart rate, and activities. You could also monitor your sleep and get a sedentary reminder if you’re sitting idle for long. The device is equipped with a slew of sensors like Tri-axis Accelerometer + Tri-axis Gyro, Capacitive Wear Monitoring, to name a few.
Rest, it also shows weather, Shows timings, notifications from apps, calls and more.

The brand also surprised us with a Mi Band 4 Avengers edition with custom dials matching wrist bands for Captain America, Avengers and Iron Man.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Pricing, Variants and Availability
The base variant (without NFC) weighing around 22.1g with a 135mAh battery is priced at 169 yuan or Rs. 1,695 approx. Next up, the NFC Edition (weighing around 22.2g and bearing a 125mAh battery) is priced at 229 yuan or Rs. 2,300 approx. As for the Avengers edition, it costs 349 yuan or Rs. 3500 approx.
They would go on sale in China starting June 16. There are good chances that sooner or later, the Mi Band 4 will land in India.
