Xiaomi introduced a bunch of gadgets at a grand event in Shenzhen on May 31, and these also include the next iteration of its fitness tracker, the Mi Band 3. The next generation fitness tracker has a bigger screen, is water resistant, has NFC, and promises up to 20 days of battery life.

Mi Band 3 Features

The new Mi Band 3 has a bigger 0.78-inch OLED ( up from 0.42-inch on Mi Band 2) and this gives users more space to check notifications, read messages from the paired phones and view incoming calls. In fact, you can directly receive calls from the tracker.

The Mi Band 3 is IP67 water resistant which makes it swim proof (can go 50 meters deep). The band can monitor sleep and measure regular stats. The battery has never been a problem on Mi Bands, and, according to Xiaomi, the one on the MI Band 3 can last for 20 days.

You can pair Mi Band 3 to iOS and Android phones using Bluetooth 4.2 LE.

Does Mi Band 3 has a heart-rate sensor? Yes, it does.
