Xiaomi 13 Series specs & features tipped: launch might take place in November

Chinese giant Xiaomi launched 12S Series recently and days after its launch, Xiaomi 13 Series has started making a buzz in the tech world. Reports reveal some specs and features of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Series smartphones that might launch in November this year.

Xiaomi 13 Series Leaks and Rumors

Reports claim that the Xiaomi 13 Series will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which is yet to be officially announced by Qualcomm. It is also claimed that there will be no Dimensity variants of the smartphones this time and the display will have a 2K Screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

A reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Xiaomi 13 Series will come with wireless fast charging support. The series will pack a single cell 100W battery that will be supported by self-developed charging chips. 50W wireless fast charging is also expected. The charging chip will be an upgraded version of the Surge P1 first-generation charging chip from the Xiaomi 12 Series. The chip gives effective power management and reduces heat loss.

The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to be manufactured by BYD and have a ceramic back panel. Currently, Xiaomi uses ceramic panels for MIX 4 and MIX Fold phones. The ceramic body makes smartphones lightweight and attractive.

The Xiaomi 13 Series is claimed to have 2 models- Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro that are apparently codenamed as Nuwa and Fuxi respectively. The standard model has a model number of 2211133C. However, Xiaomi 13 Series is still not officially announced so we will get to know more about it as the launch gets closer.
