The Vivo X90 Pro, a flagship smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer, is now available at a massive discount of Rs. 10,000 on Flipkart. Earlier this year, Vivo launched the 12/256GB variant in India at Rs. 84,999. However, as part of the ongoing deal, the e-commerce platform is letting the device go for a lower price. But is the phone worth the discounted price? Here’s everything you need to know about the Vivo X90 Pro Flipkart deal.

Vivo X90 Pro Flipkart Deal

As mentioned earlier, the Vivo X90 Pro, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, was launched in the country at Rs. 84,999. However, Flipkart has reduced the price to Rs. 74,999 during the festive season. Further, customers can get an additional discount of Rs. 8,500 on selected bank credit and debit cards (valid up to October 31, 2023). This brings the effective price of the smartphone down to Rs. 66,499.

What Does The Vivo X90 Pro Offer?

For the price, users get a 6.78-inch 120Hz screen with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. Under the hood, the Vivo X90 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 (4nm) SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The main selling point of the smartphone, however, is the triple rear camera setup, headlined by the 50.3MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 50MP (f/1.6) two times optical zoom, and 12MP (f/2.0) ultrawide sensor. Further, users also get a 4,870 mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging.

Should You Purchase The Smartphone?

Vivo X90 Pro

So, should you buy the Vivo X90 Pro? Well, the answer depends on what one is looking for. For instance, if you already have a Vivo smartphone and wish to upgrade to experience one of the company’s best phones, with excellent cameras and super-fast charging, the Vivo X90 Pro could be a great upgrade. You can also trade in your current device to get an exchange bonus. However, if you’re on the market looking for the best software experience or better performance, there are other alternatives that you can consider.

For instance, you can get the Pixel 8 at Rs. 67,999 (including a Rs. 8,000 discount on HDFC bank’s credit and debit cards). The smartphone provides the best stock Android experience, has one of the most refined mobile cameras, and will get Android updates for another seven years. Another excellent option is the Galaxy S23, available on Amazon for an effective price of Rs. 65,999 (including an additional discount of Rs. 9,000 on SBI credit cards).

Last but not least, one can also consider the iPhone 14 or the iPhone 14 Plus if telephoto zoom or a high-resolution camera is not a priority. The phones offer top-notch performance and excellent video recording and will easily last you for another three to four years. Moreover, a couple of flagships offer slightly better software experience or features than the Vivo X90 Pro, but those who like the company’s devices and have been using them for quite some time can consider the X90 Pro at a discounted price.
