Vivo X50Pro 5G India Launch To Happen on July 16

Vivo has been teasing the Vivo X50 Pro for some time. Back in June, Vivo India CEO Jerome Chen shared company’s intentions to launch the X50 series in India. While Vivo is yet to officially reveal the X50 Pro launch date, Smartprix has learnt that the Vivo X50 Pro is to debut in India on July 16.

Vivo X50 series is already official in China. The Vivo X50 Pro ships with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with 5G modem. If the Indian variant is the same as the Chinese version, it will be first 5G phone from Vivo in India. In fact, it will be slimmest 5G phone in the country.

Vivo X50 Pro Details and Features

The Vivo X50 Pro comes with 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED with curved-side edges. Vivo X50 Pro ships with Snapdragon 765G SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The Vivo X50 Pro biggest highlight is its quad camera setup that has a gimbal-like system for handheld shake-free video recording. The X50 Pro quad-setup at the rear includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel depth sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor, and an 8-megapixel macro camera. During video recording, the Vivo camera app shows up ‘Gimbal Radar’ that helps in stabilization. It also has a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front fixed within punch-hole in the display.

The Vivo X50 Pro also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and 4,315mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It supports dual-mode 5G (SA and NSA), USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, and more as connectivity options.
