Priced at ₹79,999, the X300 FE (which stands for “Fashion Edition,” though “Feisty Edition” might be more accurate) manages to cram a segment-leading 6,500mAh battery and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 into a chassis that actually fits in one hand.

Display and Design: Compact Footprint, High Brightness
The X300 FE packs a 6.31-inch flat LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2640 x 1216 pixels) and an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. The panel reaches a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and incorporates ZEISS Master Color Display calibration for color accuracy. High-frequency 4320Hz PWM dimming is included to reduce eye strain during prolonged use.
The device’s chassis employs an aerospace-grade aluminum frame with rounded edges and a flat profile, a design choice intended to minimize accidental edge touches. The rear camera module adopts a horizontal layout described by vivo as a “floating droplet cold-sculpting” design, engineered to resist fingerprint smudges. Color options include Urban Olive, Lilac Purple, and Noir Black. The phone measures 7.99mm in thickness and weighs 191 grams.
Durability credentials include IP68 and IP69 ratings, certifying resistance to dust ingress, immersion in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for 30 minutes, and high-pressure water jets. The display is protected by SCHOTT Xensation cover glass, and the device carries an SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance rating aligned with military-grade durability standards (MIL-STD-810H).

Camera System: ZEISS Optics Across Three Lenses
vivo has equipped the X300 FE with a triple rear camera system co-engineered with ZEISS, emphasizing versatility across focal lengths.
The primary camera employs a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 sensor with an f/1.57 aperture and optical image stabilization. It is joined by a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera using the Sony IMX882 sensor, offering 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom with OIS. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 106-degree field of view completes the rear array. A front-facing 50-megapixel autofocus camera with an f/2.0 aperture handles selfies and video calls.
On the software side, the ZEISS Multifocal Portrait mode supports five classic focal lengths — 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm — combined with ZEISS Style Bokeh effects and adaptive flash-based portrait lighting. Computational photography features include an AI True Clarity Engine for RAW-level image optimization and an AI-powered 200-megapixel upscaling mode.
Video recording capabilities span 4K at 60fps and 120fps, along with 8K at 30fps, supported by a dedicated Pro Video mode.
vivo is also selling a ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 separately for Rs 15,999. A more affordable ZEISS Telephoto Extender Accessories Kit is priced at Rs 3,999. A bundle combining the base X300 FE variant, the Gen 2 extender, and the accessories kit is available for Rs 95,997 after a Rs 4,000 flat discount.

Performance and Battery: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with Segment-Leading Capacity
Under the hood, the X300 FE is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform, built on a 3nm process with a custom Oryon all-big-core CPU architecture and an Adreno 829 GPU. Memory and storage configurations pair LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.1 flash storage.
Thermal management relies on a 4,005 mm² vapor chamber liquid cooling system supplemented by high-performance graphite layers, designed to sustain peak performance during gaming and video recording sessions.
A standout feature is the 6,500 mAh battery, which vivo claims is the largest battery capacity available in India within this screen size segment. Charging is handled by 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless fast charging. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and an AI SuperLink system for maintaining stable connections in weak-signal environments.

vivo has committed to five years of operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates for the device. Additional software features include a vivo Office Kit for phone mirroring and remote PC control, a cross-platform “Shake & Share” file transfer system compatible with Android and iOS devices, and a “Private Space” for encrypted data isolation.
