TL; DR
  • Vivo may collaborate with Fujifilm for X200 Ultra claims new leak.
  • X200 Ultra to get custom “A1” chip for enhanced image processing.
  • Vivo X200 Ultra likely China-only, like predecessor.

It’s that time of year when we start seeing “Ultra” flagship smartphones from our favorite brands. Xiaomi is taking the lead with the global launch of its Xiaomi 15 Ultra later this week, while the OPPO Find X8 Ultra is set to debut sometime in April.

One brand that has been silent until now is Vivo. However, as per a new report, Vivo could be working on delivering a class-leading experience with its X200 Ultra smartphone. A new leak claims Vivo has partnered with Japan’s Fujifilm for its 2025 Ultra model.

The leaked material also mentions that the Vivo X200 Ultra will have a custom A1 chip under the hood. This chip is said to bring “improved intelligent processing power” for a better photography experience. Additionally, the X200 Ultra is said to feature support for 4K@120fps HDR video recording. All this is purportedly made possible by a new image sensor with 5-axis stabilization. While 5-axis stabilization is not new for Vivo, the company offered Gimbal stabilization solutions on its X series smartphones until three years ago.
