In a recent development, it is being said that Vivo is working on another foldable device named Vivo X Fold 2 which will be the successor of its first foldable. First things first, it is being said that the Vivo X Fold 2 will first enter the Chinese market followed by its debut in India. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station tipped that the brand is planning to release the smartphone in the first half of 2023 along with the Vivo X Flip. While the Vivo X Fold 2 will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, the Vivo X Flip will lock horns with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. The Vivo X Fold 2 will most probably run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
The smartphone will have a 2K resolution display and the cover display will have an in-display fingerprint scanner. another major detail tipped by Digital Chat Station is that the Handset will be light in weight as compared to its predecessor, so we can expect a thin smartphone without a bulky body. In terms of optics, we may get to see the Sony IMX866 primary shooter along with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). All the other information regarding the smartphone has not been revealed yet.
