Vivo V9 Images, Specifications, and Features Spotted on Official Page Ahead of Launch

Vivo’s forthcoming device V9 with the notched display is now slated to release on March 23, instead of earlier March 27. The firm rescheduled the launch date in India to align it with the global launch which is expected on March 22 in Thailand.

First spotted by budding Indian leakster Ishan Agrawal, the official page listing reveals the Vivo V9 in its full glory. The only thing still left for speculation is its price, for obviously, the listed price isn’t genuine.

Vivo V9 Specifications

As expected, the Vivo V9 will have an iPhone X-like notch on the front. The display size is 6.3-inch with full HD+ resolution and 19:9 screen aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the Vivo V9 is powered by Snapdragon 626 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage space. Further, the listing points that the phone has a dedicated slot for microSD card. The phone will run on Android Oreo-based FunTouch OS 4.0 out-of-the-box and include features like Apps Clone and FiturSmart Split 2.0.

For photography, the Vivo V9 features a dual 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel on the back and a 24MP sensor on the front for selfies. The cameras are said to come with Artificial Intelligence Beauty and 4k video recording capability.

Other specifications of Vivo V9 include 4G LTE support, Face Acess, fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, and AR stickers. The phone is expected to pack a 3,260mAh battery with fast charging support.

Vivo V9 India Price

The Vivo V9, the successor of V7 and V7+, is going to be a mid-range device, priced somewhere around Rs. 25,000. The phone will be available in two color variants: Gold and Black.
