Vivo V20 SE with 6.44-inch display, Snapdragon 665SoC annonuced: Specifications, features

Vivo V20 SE smartphone has been launched in Malaysia. The phone is third launch in under the V20 banner. The V20 SE highlights include a AMOLED screen, 48-megapixel triple cameras, and a 32-megapixel front camera.

Vivo V20 SE price, availability

The Vivo V20 SE price is set at RM 1,199 (approx Rs 21,250). It comes in Blue and Gravity Black color options. Vivo is yet to reveal avialablity details.

Vivo V20 SE specifications and features

The Vivo V20 SE offers a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. The screen is HDR10 compliant running on full HD+ resolution with 20:9 aspect ratio, and 60Hz refresh rate. Vivo cotinues to persist with in-display optical fingerprint sensor. The phone has more than 90 percent screen-toobdy ratio. Display also has a Gorilla Glass 3 protection layer on top.

Vivo’s decision of packing a Snapdragon 665 SoC is slightly suprising condisdering its wa first announced in 2019. The octa-core chipset is paired with a 8 GB of LPPDR4x RAM and 128 GB of internal sotrage. Ofcouse, there’s a dedicated microSD card slot also present there. Ir runs on FunTouchOS 11 which is based on Android 10.

Optics wise, the Vivo V20 SE boasts of a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the flip side, there’s vertically stacked 48-megapixel triple rear camera setup. The main rear camera has a 48MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens with f/2.4 aperture. vivo has baked features like super night selfie, AI face beauty, Pose Master, Softlight Band, and more right in the default camera app.

The Vivo V20 SE comes with a 4,100mAh battery that supports 33W Flash fast charging. Connectivity wise, the phone supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone messures 161 x 7.48 x 7.83mm in dimensions and it weighs 171 grams.
